Use the pythagorean theorem and substitute the values

a² + b² = c²

7² + 4² = c²

49 + 16 = c²

65 = c²

√65ft = c

Explanation:

Use the pathagreom theoream: a’2+ b’2= c’2 (C= hypotenus and a + b is legs)

Substitute:

7^2 + 4^2 = c^2

Square root both sides and you get … c= square root of 65
