sine = opposite/hypotenuse

cosine = adjacent/hypotenuse

Tangent = opposite/adjacent

The remaining three are the reciprocal of the above.

Cosecant = hypotenuse/opposite

Secant = hypotenuse/adjacent

Cotagent = adjacent/opposite

Just remember SOHCAHTOA to help you memorize the above information.
