How many prisoners were held in the POW camps in Texas and what type of work did they do ?

Answer: There were a lot of POW (Prisoner of War) camps in Texas, housing over 50,000 Germans during WWII. The work done there was mainly agricultural, like harvesting rice, chopping down trees, etc.
