We want to find the slope, the slope formula is;

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

Inserting the values, (4,8), (-1,8), we have;

[tex]m=\frac{8-8}{-1-4}=\frac{0}{-5}=0[/tex]

Thus, the slope is zero
