Lets put the equation into slope intercept form
y+2=-3(x-5)
y+2=-3x+15
subtract 2 from both sides
y=-3x+13

The formula for slope intercepts form is
y=mx+b      where m=slope and b=y-intercept

So -3 is the slope

Answer=-3
