f(x)=x+8          and         g(x) =x² -6x - 7

Calculate f(g(2))

1st calculate g(2) = 2² - 6(2) -7 ===> g(2) = - 15

2nd f(g(2)) becomes f(-15)

3rd replace x by -15 in f(x) =x+8 ==> -15+8=-7 and f(g(2)) = -7
