Use FOIL: (8)(3) + (3i)(5i) + (3i)(3) + (8)(5i)
Simplify: (24) + (15i^2) + (9i) + (40i)
Since i^2= -1: 24 + (-15) + 9i + 40i
Group like terms: 49i + 9
Answer: 49i+9
